Peter Martin, a healthcare specialist, will present his Spiritual Journey at the Newtown Quaker Meetinghouse, 219 Court Street, at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, February 25. Following the presentation, there will be worship in the manner of Friends at 11:00 a.m. with people speaking out of silence as they are moved to do so. The public is welcome at all events.

Peter will trace the path of his spiritual life from childhood in the Catholic Church to an ever- deepening understanding of the God within as a Quaker.

Peter, a lifelong New Yorker, spent the better part of his career in healthcare. He made the move to Pennsylvania after retirement about ten years ago. He has been an active member of the Newtown Friends Meeting for eight years, serving as Clerk (Chair) of the Adult Education Class for several years as well.

After serving in the Navy, Peter Martin received a B.A. from Long Island University and his Masters in Library Science from Pratt Institute.

Peter lives with his lovely wife Nancy and Benny in Newtown. (Benny does not like being called a dog.) They have four daughters and thirteen grandchildren split between New York and Pennsylvania.

|Newtown Friends Meeting, co-founded by the Quaker artist and minister, Edward Hicks, in 1815, holds services every First Day (Sunday).
