Join Friends via Zoom for another virtual Quarterly Meeting! The day will begin at 10 am with Newtown’s Peace & Social Justice Committee presenting Youth Speak Out on Racial Justice, a collection of video submissions by youth from around the Quarter giving voice to the issue of racial justice and ways to address discrimination and racism. An open spirit-led dialog will follow.
Meeting for Worship will begin at 11 am and run until about noon. There will be a 30 minute lunch break from 12-12:30 pm where you can either remain in the meeting and have lunch in break out rooms with Friends from around the Quarter, or take a break from screen time and return at 12:30 for Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business.
