Youth Programming

EgghuntOur Meeting takes great care in including and appreciating each individual, including children. Quakers have a long tradition of including children in the contributions and decisions for the Meeting community. While children receive guidance from adults in the Meeting, each child is a minister and is encouraged to participate in the Meeting to his or her fullest ability.

From September through May, there is a children’s First Day school program for every age, at 9:45 a.m.

At 11:00 a.m. during the time for meeting for worship, we have childcare and developmentally appropriate opportunities for our children and teens to participate in worship.

youngfriends-300x224In addition to regular First Day School programming each Sunday, there are special events throughout the year for children and intergenerational events in which children play a key role.

There are also many opportunities for children and teenagers at Bucks Quarterly Meeting and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.
