How to Contribute to Newtown Monthly Meeting

Having each member’s contribution, each year, is one indication of the continuing strength of Newtown Friends Meeting and its activities.

Contributions to the Meeting can be made in several ways:

  • Personal check sent directly to the Assistant Controller for Receipts:

Personal checks may also be left at the Meetinghouse on First Day during regular hour
of operation in the Financial Oversight mail slot, in the administrative room located off
the main stairway to the second floor.

  • Using a Credit Card online through the PYM website ( which accepts
    recurring or single gifts to Monthly and Quarterly Meetings as well as to PYM itself.
    Simply follow this 
    link for online contributions and you will be able to select making a donation to a monthly meeting, quarterly meeting or Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.
  • Electronically, by setting up Newtown Monthly Meeting through an electronic bill paying function through a contributor’s financial institution or through the PYM website using the “Set-up and Automatic Monthly Gift” option.

Contribution Guidelines:

Some have asked us for a suggested amount to be considered. Based on this year’s
budget needs, the following guide will enable us to meet our financial obligations:

Contribution per adult member $ 650
Families $ 1,040
